1. There is no fee to enter. Entries accepted starting July 26, 2010 and the deadline to enter is midnight EST on August 25. You can enter at www.thesharpgroup.net/contests.php and the only requirement is that you register as a TSG Forum Member (which is free also).

2. Each contestant, identified by TSG Forum Member Name, may submit only 1 entry. If you are caught entering more than once using a different Forum Member Name, you will be automatically disqualified.

3. The TSG Football Contest is based on picking winning teams against the TSG contest line which will be posted in the TSG Handicapping Forum Thread no later than Tuesday at Midnight EST. Contestants must select FOUR teams per week and you can play SIDES and TOTALS. Contestants may not select both sides of a game of the same game. ALL SELECTIONS ARE TO BE PRIVATE MESSAGED TO BARNDANCER AND COPY ROAGBETTOR.

4. Contest winners will be determined by the total number of points accumulated during the NFL Football regular season. Each winning selection will be credited as one point. Ties (pushes) do not accumulate any points.

5. Contestants must submit their weekly selections to the Official TSG Scorekeeper (Barn Dancer) by Friday midnight Eastern Standard Time. If there is a Thursday night game that week, you must submit your Thursday night selection(s) by NOON EASTERN STANDARD TIME ON THURSDAY. IF YOU SUBMIT A THURSDAY SELECTION(S) AFTER THE DEADLINE, IT WILL NOT COUNT AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE THOSE PICKS WITH LATER GAMES THAT WEEK. Any contestant who fails to submit weekly selections by the deadline will be awarded zero points that week. This time deadline will be strictly enforced.

6. Contestant selections will be available as soon as Barn Dancer gets to it! If there are any discrepancies between what is posted we will refer to your original Private Message with your selections. ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR SELECTIONS THEY CANNOT BE CHANGED, NO EXCEPTIONS. SO PLEASE REVIEW YOUR PICKS BEFORE YOU PRESS THE SEND BUTTON!

7. The NFL Football regular season must consist of at least 12 weeks for THE TSG FOOTBALL CONTEST to be considered valid. If the regular season is shortened to less than 12 weeks, THE TSG FOOTBALL CONTEST will be cancelled.

8. TSG reserves the right to cancel this contest or refuse to accept any registration if the same could violate any federal, state or country law, ordinance or regulation. Furthermore, TSG may cancel the contest in the event of technical difficulties or other occurrence beyond our control.

9. Tie-breaking rules: If ties exist after the NFL Football regular season, the winner(s) will be determined based upon a SUDDEN DEATH system for the first round of the playoffs. YOU WILL EACH MAKE 2 SELECTIONS ON ANY GAME FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF THE PLAYOFFS. If that fails to break the tie, we will go to the following week until we have a winner. This tiebreaking procedure will apply to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

10. After the final winners are posted, a three (3) day verification period will be allowed so we can go over all of the selections and results. Any disputes with the contest and the results or prize allocation must be provided to BARNDANCER AND ROAGBETTOR within this verification period. At the end of this time, TSG FOOTBALL CONTEST results will be declared official.

11. In the eventuality of a game cancellation or postponement the game must be played by Monday of that week to be considered action or contestant will be awarded zero points for that game.
